US-Based Chemistry Facility

Organix is located just outside of Boston in the city of Woburn, Massachusetts. The Organix facility was custom-built specially for organic chemistry.

  • Five chemistry laboratories have 44 fully equipped Kewaunee hoods with fully serviced bench space and adjacent cabinets.

  • Each laboratory currently has the equipment and glassware to conduct reactions from 1 mL to 75 L scale.

  • To support our large scale kilo-lab we have added a 20 L Heidolph rotary evaporator and chiller (Hei-VAP Rotavac20, Hei-CHILL 3000.)

  • The laboratories are contiguous with instrument, glass washing, and solvent storage rooms.

  • Library facilities include an in-house collection of reference texts and journals, subscriptions to Reaxys and ACD, and a corporate lending agreement with Infotrieve.

  • Offices and conference rooms house all administrative functions and meetings.

  • Organix' safety policy is guided by the Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules.

  • The premises are protected (24/7) by a sophisticated alarm system.

Large-scale Walk-In Hoods equipped with 75 L, 50 L and 20 L reactors. Our vision is to bring projects from the mg to g to kg scale.
